The throat of the Devil (Iguazú, Argentina) is the most absorbent natural place I witnessed in my life
Following the list that I started last week Here I leave four other countries that you must visit if you are authentic fans of the films that were shot there:
The Iguazu Falls (Brazil, Argentina) and La Mision
In my opinion, one of the best soundtracks ever created by the great Ennio Morricone Its the The mission. This British film was awarded, in 1986, with the Oscar for best photography and the Golden Palm of the prestigious Cannes festival.
The film is about the atrocities that Spaniards and Portuguese performed with the indigenous people who inhabited the lands of Latin America during the years of colonization. The great actors, Robert De Niro, Jeremy Irons and Liam Neeson, will try to protect the interests and lives of the Paraná Indians.
The location of the film - with unforgettable first minutes - takes place where the events that are denounced actually took place: Iguazu waterfalls and the surrounding jungle.
Whoever contemplated the majesty of the Iguazu Falls will always end up coming back. I did it a couple of times and I still want to return many more. The force of the fall of the water, the jungle, the islands, the animals, etc. It all forms a magical atmosphere that makes it the most beautiful natural place I have ever seen.
For more inri, within the natural park (on the Argentine side), there is a little train that takes you to the catwalk that leads to the most spectacular waterfall of all, the Devil's throat, and in it the soundtrack of the film sounds. Insuperable.
Tunisia and Star Wars
