This is the moment when a terrified fisherman posed for a photo and ended up taking a very different snapshot.

Novon Mashiah almost becomes lunch when he visited a river located at East Darwin, Australia, and a monstrous crocodile suddenly jumped at him after Mr. Mashiah pointed his finger at him. The bug - which is estimated to be more than 4 meters long - hit the side of the boat before diving back into the river.

The young fisherman later commented: “What a scare! The animal clearly wanted to kill me. I leaned in a little while checking the boat to take a picture, and when I wanted to realize the crocodile came out of the water at an incredible speed ... and with its jaws completely open. I jumped back and the crocodile lay in the boat for a few moments before returning to the water. I was shaking. ”

Mr. Mashiah's friend, Doron Aviguy, 22, was the one who took the extraordinary snapshot from a larger ship that was quite close. The two Israelites worked as fishermen on this river called South alligator when the beast crossed his path.

“I started playing with him for the photo,” said Novon Mashiah. “I was pointing at him when he suddenly jumped at me. I didn't know that crocodiles were so aggressive. They always approach boats, probably because they know we are fishing. We had seen eight different crocodiles in the last month. In the end I ended up giggling with laughter, but the seconds that the incident lasted were not fun at all. It's over, I don't approach a crocodile anymore ”
