Spring is an explosion, pure nature and a sensational time to discover the mountains in its moment of splendor. At this time of the year the snow begins to melt, the ice on the lakes breaks into layers and the rebirth of the vegetation and flora offers a visual spectacle that we cannot miss.
Many mountain ranges near our home can bring us closer to a similar experience. As an example, in the Pyrenees there are many crossings between high peaks and lakes where we can contemplate that process of contrasting climates that nature experiences in spring. A good place for it are the lakes of Juclar in Andorra.
I did this trekking in May a couple of years ago and now that we are in spring it is worth remembering to add it again on my own online shopping cart for the next weekends.
The beautiful contrast of spring
The lakes of Juclar are located in the northeast of Andorra and offers a splendid day of hiking for all types of practitioners. There are walls for experts and also excursions to easily go with the children or with the whole family.
The route that I describe next does not require a remarkable physical level. The area is very worthwhile especially because it is not as saturated as other well-known areas of Andorra and the lack of ski slopes on the slopes of its mountains.
I left Barcelona at 6 am in the direction of Andorra. The traffic was clear and the only reason I arrived in more than three hours was because of the benefits of the Peugeot 205 harvest of 89 that I am proud to drive. I left the car in the parking lot enabled on the Baladosa bridge where there were barely a couple of cars parked. With the backpack on my back I began to open track following the marked track that leads to the shelter of Juclar.
